  •  Recap on the key vocabulary we have used over the past 2 weeks.
  • Complete the end of unit worksheets independently.

Get outside in the garden for a kick around, run around or a bit of fresh air.

SPaG Special focus (p15)

  • Homophones – can you remember what they are?
  • Look at the different words we’re using today. In the rhyming sentences, can you find the homophones?

11:10 – 12:00

Writing

  • Last entry into Samuel’s diary today and the fire is finally under control.
  • Can you think, as if you were Samuel Pepys, about the next steps for London. Now that the fire is over, what should you do next? What would we rebuild houses with? Do we need to set up any rules? What about the fire fighters?

Lunch

Go outside for a bit of fresh air and play a game!

  •  Read or listen to Chapter 5 of 'The Enchanted Wood'.
  • Discuss how you would feel if you visited Roundabout Land.
