• Find out what it means and write the definition in your own words!

• How many syllables does it have (clap each syllable to help you)? 

•  Make a list of synonyms and antonyms   

•  Can you use it in an interesting sentence?  

• Are you able to use it, appropriately, when you are speaking or in any of your writing opportunities?

Spend some time completing any mymaths activities that you need to complete. 

Today we are looking at the family challenges below. Try to do as many as you can in the time available.

SPaG: Complete the spelling activity below

English 

Today is using your description from yesterday to create a piece of learning which describes the Sarcastic Seaweed!  

This could be: 

• A rhyming poem 

• An acrostic poem  

• A shape poem  

• Descriptive writing accompanying a drawing  

• Comic strip  

• Dressing up and acting as sarcastic seaweed 

• Stop animation (if you have the software or app) 

• Rewrite the section of the book describing the Sarcastic Seaweed (better!) 

Like previously said, these are just suggestions! You can present your learning however you choose to do!   

If you are proud of your learning and feel it is your best learning, email it to your class teacher via the school office. Remember the Gallery is for displaying exemplar pieces of learning. You must ensure you have proofread your learning thoroughly before emailing it!
