Happy Friday!
I bet your parents are impressed with all the learning that happens in a week at school. It’s also really nice for them to see how clever you in so many different areas of learning. 😊
While we welcome photos of all areas of your children's learning every day, the one piece of work we would really like to see on Tapestry today is the diary writing as it is the culmination of a week's learning.
Heads-up! On Monday you will have a chance to get in character as a farmer. if you would like to join the Zoom call with a farmer’s hat and/or shirt, please do. If you have any metal tractors/toy cars/toys, please have a couple in front of you as well.
Make sure that you keep up with all the learning we set as we don’t want anyone falling behind.
9:00- 9.15 Word of the Day/Flashback 4
Please write the short date 15.01.21, WOD, definition and a sentence of your own.
Below WOD show your workings and the answers to Flashback 4.
We will check Flashback 4 during the live input session later this morning.
9.15-9.45 Guided Reading
Please start your Guided Reading today by reading the document ‘Hogarth Sees Iron Man for the first time’ as you might want to use some of these words and phrases in paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of your diary. Please also look back at the similes you wrote about Iron Man as they will all come in handy when writing paragraph 3.
Then, please read and answer the questions to ‘Dazzling Diwali’.
Finally, get a pencil and paper ready for the live Zoom diary writing session.
