Make a bug hotel
Remember insects are only small so your hotel doesn’t need to be very big. There are lots of things you can use but recycling something would be the best idea. You could use a small cardboard box, a plastic carton or an old plant pot. Fill the container with natural materials such as sticks, old pieces of cardboard, leaves, small pebbles or pinecones. Try and use a selection of different things to encourage different types of insects. Ask an adult if there is a safe place you can leave your hotel and keep an eye on who comes to stay.
